Here are some pics of our family vacation. We stayed in a 5 bedroom house with its own pool and hottub. Each family had their own bathroom which was very nice. Avon on Hatteras Island is not commeralized so we spent most of the time at the pool or on the beach, which was a short walk. The beach was awesome and the kids loved the huge waves. The kids were surprisely really good for the 14 hour trip down and back. On the way back we got stuck on the one lane road out of Avon for 2 hours b/c of an accident. Thank goodness that my brother and his family were near us to help keep the kids entertained.
