We're Baaaaack

Hi All,
Well we are back from the sunny Florida and resting in snowy and cold Ohio. Boy was it nice in 85 degree weather. We had a wonderful time. We went to the beach, played in the sand, visited family, and just had a great time. It was really relaxing. The weather was beautiful the entire time and the kids were great. They had so much fun, especially at the beach. Unfortuntely, I forgot the cord to download my pictures so I will post them within the next couple of days. We are trying to get back into the swing of things and putting the kids back on schedule. We got in at 2:00 a.m. on Sat morning and have been going since. We attended a birthday party on Saturday and then Paige and I went to see Disney on Ice, Princess Classics on Sunday. So I am exhausted. I think I need a day off from vacation. I will post pictures soon.

Miss Librarian with Buckeye Bear

Paige spent the night with my parents and her cousins, Gabriella and Faith last weekend. Paige loves to where Mamo's glasses. Doesn't she look so cute. The Bear in the picture is the infamous "Buckeye Bear" Buckeye Bear travels from student to student in Paige's preschool classroom. The dreaded day came for Paige to take him home. I couldn't imagine having her sleep and play with something that has been around for years and who knows where it has been. All I could think of was running noses, boogy fingers and god knows what else. So I told Paige that Buckeye Bear needed a bath before it went anywhere. So into the washer and dryer it went. I did get a little worried before looking in the dryer. What if it exploded in the dryer, How would I explain this to her teacher. As I walked to the dryer, I thought "Please be in one piece, please" and thank heaven it was. I felt much better having her hold and play with it. I mean, Paige has parents who don't even question taking their own sheets and pillowcases to hotel rooms. Anyway, Buckeye Bear has been with us for three weeks but needs to go home now because we are leaving for Florida on Sunday. We will be gone til Friday. Check back to see us having fun in the sun.

Stinky Feet

Preston loves when you smell his feet. He will give you one and then make you smell the other. It is so funny so we had Papa smell his feet and they were really stinky.
"Papa, smell my feet"
"Now, smell the other one"
"I think I will just bite them instead"

Our little dare devils

Wow, look at the view from up here.
I think I will just stay right here

Over the weekend, my parents had to use the ladder to put some things on a plant ledge. At one point, my dad looked behind him and Preston was on the third step. So we allowed him to climb up by himself. Without thinking twice, he went all the way to the top . Paige on the other hand, the girly girl, that she is only made it to the second step. Then, they wanted to help Papa take the ladder back downstairs. Papa said that it took more time having help then doing it by himself.

Changed Template

I don't know about you but that old template was hurting my eyes every time I looked at it. We have a great and relaxing weekend. On Friday night, Paige and I scrapbooked for a little bit. She is really into writing her name and cutting paper with the scissors. Although, I do need to watch her since last week she cut a piece of her hair and this weekend, I caught her almost cutting my dining room table cloth. I asked her what she was doing and she simply said nothing. I was thinking, Yeah, right. Anyway, Geoff and I were able to have a quiet adult dinner on Saturday with our friends, Chris and Heidi. It was very nice, however my parents were very surprised to see us walking in the door at 10:00pm. Oh, the days when we would stay out until 3:00a.m.

Hi,
Thanks to our friends Carl and Kelli Scott out in California, we have decided to set up a blog for the kids. They set up a blog for their son and it is wonderful. Everyone knows that when you have kids they grow up so fast and sometimes family and friends don't have the opportunity to watch them grow. This will allow us to do that. I hope you enjoy this. I will do my best to keep it updated.
