Happy Easter

The kids really enjoyed easter morning. Preston enjoyed the candy more than anything and Paige was busy examining everyone elses baskets. After church, we met my parents for brunch and then had easter dinner with Geoff's mom, Titi Leigh, Uncle Kevin, Kaleigh, and Ashton. The kids had a lot of fun playing with each other. We ended up having a wonderful easter, very relaxing. Sorry about the pictures being out of order below.
What's wrong with Paige? She was tired of taking pictures

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, I took Paige and my nieces's Gabriella and Faith to an easter egg hunt at a local church. There was face painting, crafts, games, a petting zoo, and the hunt. Of course, there are not pictures of them at the hunt. Imagine having about 100 plus kids running after easter eggs and trying to take pictures and trying to keep track of your three. No luck

Petting zoo with little chicks, ponies, rabbies. Of course, Paige didn't want any part of that
Aren't they cute and Gabby is supposed to be a bunny not Rudolph, like Paige thought

Coloring Easter Eggs

Well I decided to color easter eggs with both kids this year. I wasn't sure if I should have waited until Preston went to bed but I thought it couldn't be bad. Preston did have fun despite him putting the colored dye tablets in his mouth, cracking the eggs against the table, and drinking the vinegar water from the spoons. Paige of course was a pro.

This is my version of cheese

"I'm so good at this"
Don't they look beautiful, notice Preston is not in the picture. Yes, we put him to bed

Yeah, I know you are bigger than me but we can still play

Did I mention they were eating?

Our friends Buddy and Mandy with their daughters, Aubrey and Addy and Trina minus Jason with Ava, come over on Friday night. We try to get together once every couple months so after three months of planning we were finally able to see each other. The kids had so much fun eating, playing, talking, and more eating.

Disney on Ice

Our little Princess

Mickey and Minnie
Paige with Belle

The weekend we got back from Florida, I took Paige to Disney on Ice and of course she looked like such the little princess. She loved the show. Now, she can't wait for us to take her to the real thing, Disney World. Doesn't Paige look cute with her little Belle, then of course we had to get Preston a sword and Paige a magic wand and don't forget the popcorn, the slushie in the Cinderella cup and the pictures with Mickey and Minnie. Where does it end?

Ava and Preston

They do look cute
Yes, he is sitting inside the chair

Oh the trouble two 1 year olds can get into, when you are not looking. The weekend we got back from Florida, my brother's family and my sister's family all came in for the weekend. Preston and Ava were caught feeding each other cheerios after one of them dump them all over the floor.

Seaweed, Jellyfish, Coconuts, oh my.

Jellyfish
Coconuts
Beautiful Key Biscayne in Miami
Lots of seaweed in Fort Myers

Besides dodging the jellyfish and seaweed, we had a wonderful time in Florida. Paige even got to take a coconut back to Uncle Nelson's and had Papa crack it open. We ate the delicious coconut from it. Yummy, I could survive on Survivor. We are back home in the cold and looking forward to warm weather.

We love to Fish

Papa and Preston just coming back from watching others catch fish
The pond with no fish
" I think I caught a big one, Papa"
Papa loves to fish, even if he doesn't catch (or can't) catch anything. He took his heavy duty fishing pole for some deep sea fishing and a couple of smaller ones.
Unfortunately, Papa didn't get to do any serious fishing. He did take Preston on the pier to see other people fish and also took the kids fishing in the pond where Titi Maggie lives. Papa didn't catch a thing.

Visiting Family

Titi Maggie and Uncle Emil- Dad's Sister

Preston with Pele
At Key Biscayne with Uncle Nelson & Rosemary- Mom's Brother

After we left Fort Meyers, we headed over to Fort Lauderdale to see my aunt, uncle, and cousin Jessica. They also have a dog Max, a ferret Pele, and a Chincilla. For all who know, Paige is not the biggest animal lover but Preston got a kick out of Pele. After an overnight stay in Ft. Lauderdale, we headed down to Miami for two days to visit my uncle and his wife.

Out to Dinner

Geoff and I have decided that we do not want to see the inside of a restaurant for a while. Not that we don't like going out to eat but imagine eating out for lunch and dinner for most of the week with a 3 year old and a very active, doesn't want to sit in a high chair, likes to touch everything and anything on the table, little boy and tell me if you want to go out to eat. Oh yes, he looks so innocent and cute in these pictures.

Fun in the Sun

Getting buried in the sand.
Here we are at Fort Myers Beach. Can you say Retirement capital of the world? Boy, did I feel young. Actually Fort Myers is a beautiful place to visit with a great beach. The kids had so much fun at the beach. The water was a little cold to go all the way in but they still had fun playing, collecting seashells, and building sandcastles. Preston was a little hesitate with the sand but that didn't last long. At times, he was even eating it.

"Florida, Here We Come"

Paige watching High School Musical and secretly eating snacks on the plane.

Well, here are the pictures I promised. The kids were great on the plane ride. It was Paige's third time flying and Preston's second. I swear we had more luggage than you could imagine, car seats, strollers, pack in plays, plus all the things to keep them entertained on the plane. As you can see the kids went back and forth between our seats and my parents and Preston touched ever button you could think of.
